RubinBrown combines with Goltermann

RubinBrown LLP, a Top 100 Firm, has merged in Goltermann & Associates, expanding the firm’s wealth advisory service in St. Louis, effective Jan. 1, 2018.

As part of the deal, Greg and Joe Goltermann and their team will move into RubinBrown’s office in Clayton, Mo.

RubinBrown has been providing wealth advisory services since 2002 and offering tax preparation, assurance and consulting services for more than 60 years. Goltermann & Associates has supplied accounting, tax and advisory services to families and entrepreneurial businesses in the St. Louis area for more than 30 years.

“Similar to RubinBrown, Goltermann & Associates has a long-standing, reputable history in the St. Louis community and values strong client relationships,” said RubinBrown chairman John F. Herber, Jr., in a statement. “With the combination of our firms, clients will continue to receive superior service and individual attention to their specific needs, while also benefiting from RubinBrown’s more robust resources and integrated financial planning process.”

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. RubinBrown ranked 46th on Accounting Today’s 2017 list of the Top 100 Firms. The firm reported $91 million in annual revenue. Goltermann declined to report its annual revenue. RubinBrown has 679 team members and 115 partners, while Goltermann has four team members and two partners.

Last year, St. Louis-based RubinBrown expanded to Chicago by merging in FLS Group and to Las Vegas by combining with Stewart Archibald & Barney.
