Sage Foundation donates Sage Business Cloud People software to nonprofits

Sage, which makes cloud-based enterprise resource management software, has made its people management HR solution available for free to eligible nonprofit organizations through its philanthropic arm, the Sage Foundation. Recipients will get two full admin user licenses to Sage Business Cloud People, and 50 percent license contribution for all subsequent licenses. To be eligible for a 50 percent license contribution, an organization must be in good standing in its country, be registered with the local TechSoup partner, and deliver programs aligned with Sage Foundation’s vision of a “world where all people and communities thrive because they are living with economic stability and social equality.” For more information and country specific guidelines, visit here.

Veem and BlueVine partner up

Veem, a global payments platform, has partnered with BlueVine, which provides working capital to small businesses, to provide those businesses with an integrated solution for cash flow and payments. Through the partnership, Veem’s U.S.-based clients will be able to access BlueVine to to finance their cross-border and domestic payments, and access to working capital for everyday business expenses. This partnership comes a year after BlueVine announced Fortress Credit Corp. gave it a $75 million warehouse credit line for its small and medium-sized business working capital financing operations. The latest venture capital funds will be used to fuel BlueVine’s Flex Credit offering, the company reported.

DocStar updates Dynamics GP integration

DocStar, which makes document management and automated accounts payable solutions, has updated its Microsoft Dynamics GP integration. According to the company, the purchase order (PO) and vendor creation processes have been made easier.

“DocStar is a critical part of an effective supply-chain management strategy for Dynamics GP users,” said Tom Franceski, vice president and general manager of DocStar, in a statement. “With DocStar and its business process automation capabilities, companies can better manage AP processes and decrease supply-chain disruption.
