Reingruber focuses on the post-acute health care industry, with clients that include skilled nursing facilities, hospital-based transitional care units, rehab centers, hospices, home health agencies and continuing care retirement communities in more than 25 states.

As part of the deal, Claudia E. Reingruber, CPA, is joining Saltmarsh’s Tampa office as a shareholder. Formed in 1991, her practice focuses on health care accounting and consulting.

“Claudia is nationally recognized in our profession for her expertise in the post-acute health care area, with a particular strength on the clinical side,” said Saltmarsh president Lee Bell in a statement. “Her team has been regarded for years as one of the best. This addition allows our firm to continue to realize our goal of expanding services in the increasingly complex area of health care.”

They also provide litigation support for medical record audits, Compliance Plan activities, governmental investigations and Qui Tam whistleblower defense cases.

“As the industry we serve has continued to grow, the demand from our clients for additional services convinced me we needed a strong partner for the future,” Reingruber said in a statement. “The people and culture of Saltmarsh were the deciding factor.”
