Schiro Named To PepsiCo Board

Purchase, N.Y. (Feb. 3, 2003) -- James J. Schiro, who as chief executive of Price Waterhouse, led the firm during its merger with Coopers & Lybrand, was named to the board of soft drink and snack food conglomerate PepsiCo Inc.

Schiro, 57, currently chief executive of Zurich Financial Services AG, stepped down as chief executive at PwC last year and was succeeded in that post by Samuel DiPiazza.
