On-demand tax prep service Taxfyle has partnered with online bookkeeping service Bench Accounting Inc. to match business owners who have books prepared by Bench with CPAs and EAs for tax planning, prep and filing.

Taxfyle gives taxpayers a way to find a tax professional to prepare individual or business taxes while providing potential clients with an upfront quote. Bench clients will be able to receive a single quote for bookkeeping and tax services through a bundle package and will pay a monthly fee. Once Bench has completed a client’s year-end financial package, it will be uploaded to a Taxfyle account for planning and prep.

"Now more than ever, SMBs stand to benefit from the tax planning and filing expertise that licensed professionals have to offer,” Taxfyle CEO and co-founder Richard Lavina said in a statement. “Combine this with the tremendous job Bench does of preparing their clients books, and you essentially have a full-service accounting department for a fraction of the cost.

"There's no shortage of critical, time-intensive back office tasks for small business owners to complete. But, these tasks aren't producing income," added Ian Crosby, co-founder and CEO of Bench, in a statement. "We selectively partner with companies like Taxfyle to equip our clients with effortless solutions to these tasks, leveraging our automation to establish a new foundation for small business success and long-term growth."
