EPICOR RELEASES NEXT-GENERATION ERP SUITE

Irvine, Calif. - Epicor Software has released its new ERP suite, Epicor 9.05, with new industry-specific functionality and expertise, new financial management capabilities, and the ability to connect people, processes and applications.

Key additions to Epicor 9.05 include advanced financial management, enhanced quality assurance, multi-channel order management, preventative maintenance and enhanced contact management features. The new release delivers functional improvements, enhancements and new modules across every suite within the solution.

 

SAGE ADDS HR CHOICES TO MIP

Austin, Texas - Sage North America has added human resources management and employee self-service capabilities to its MIP Fund Accounting software. The features were previously only available in the Sage Abra HR management system, but at a higher overall price point.

Both MIP Fund Accounting and Sage Abra are primarily used by nonprofit and government organizations.

The new HR management module integrates with MIP's payroll and general ledger modules, providing nonprofit customers with data management, reporting and tracking. The new employee self-service feature allows employees and managers to securely enter, update and approve timesheets and other records online.

 

FINANCIALFORCE.COM RELEASES QUICKSTART APP

San Mateo, Calif. - FinancialForce.com has introduced QuickStart, a wizard-driven application that helps businesses set up their accounts online with the company's cloud accounting system.

QuickStart is primarily designed to help small and midsized organizations with limited in-house accounting resources or standard accounting requirements. The 10-step application provides pre-defined steps for set-up. A default chart of accounts will provide users with a starting point based on five sector templates: IT/high tech, professional services, media, medical services and generic.
