BLACKBAUD RELEASES MOBILE PAYMENTS APP

Charleston, S.C. -- Nonprofit accounting software maker Blackbaud has released Blackbaud MobilePay, a mobile credit card processing application that is integrated with the company's payment processing services. Blackbaud MobilePay is available in the Apple App Store and the Android Play Store for nonprofits in the U.S. using Blackbaud Merchant Services, and Blackbaud clients receive up to two complimentary Blackbaud MobilePay card readers. Blackbaud users can now accept credit and debit card payments, and once logged into the MobilePay app, they can enter the amount and the payee's e-mail, swipe the card and obtain a signature. A personalized e-mail receipt is then sent after each transaction and funds collected are disbursed with other transactions processed via Blackbaud Merchant Services.

 

ADP OFFERS INTEGRATED PRODUCT FOR ACCOUNTANTS

Roseland, N.J. -- ADP has integrated its ezLaborManager product with RUN Powered by ADP Payroll for Partners, with the goal of allowing accountants and other payroll service providers to help their clients with compliance while collecting employee hours and calculating and reporting time and attendance. ADP's ezLaborManager product also provides special reports to support requirements associated with the Affordable Care Act.

 

RED WING SOFTWARE RELEASES ASSEMBLIES MODULE

Red Wing, Minn. -- Red Wing Software Inc. Has released an assemblies module for its centerpoint accounting software series, which will give users the ability to manage a production plan and build assemblies. The new module provides enhanced inventory management capabilities designed to help businesses streamline and organize their processes to help increase profitability. Users can also now create finished products from other components in their inventory and allocate overhead/labor to an assembly. In addition, the tools in centerpoint offer the capability to create and drill down within subassemblies and build them on the fly. Users can assign assemblies to projects and profit centers, and the software will indicate where there are material shortages at run time.
