LINKEDIN RANKS TOP 25 ACCOUNTING SCHOOLS

As the crisp autumn air signaled the start of a new school year, LinkedIn released a ranking of the top 25 accounting schools, based on its own research of successful accounting professionals on the social networking site.

The top 25 schools are:

IFRS FOUNDATION LAUNCHES ONLINE QUIZ

The IFRS Foundation announced a free-of-charge online quiz available for both students and educators alike that tests participants on their knowledge of the use of the IFRS, the International Accounting Standards Board, and the standards themselves.

Test-takers will be given 10 true-or-false statements randomly drawn from a pool of 220 questions. Instant grades and answer explanations will be provided back. Additionally, the IFRS Foundation will make the entire set of questions available to educators who are using the IFRS pocket guide as a textbook.
