Q&A with Mark Wenig, CEO

1) What qualifies TrueCloud as NetSuite's VAR of the Month?

TrueCloud has been successfully reselling NetSuite since 2008. We have implemented NetSuite with well over 150 companies and have provided 100’s of customized solutions designed to help our customers grow their business while reducing technical complexity.

2) What makes you successful?
TrueCloud starts with the customer and works backward by focusing on leveraging NetSuite to optimize and expand their business.  Customer trust is critical and we work every day to ensure we earn and keep that trust.  TrueCloud plays as a team.  We believe our staff works with TrueCloud, not for TrueCloud and we build our internal culture to emphasize that ownership.  We believe in working with heart and balance.  Every day we try to deliver value for our customers and employees.  Working with heart means really caring about what we’re making and doing -- it’s a mission, not just a job.

3) How are you growing your firm? How do you plan to continue to grow?
TrueCloud is using a combination of customer and employee obsession with consistent strategic mapping.  We utilize objectives and key results (OKR) to keep us focused on our ‘next big thing’ and ensure we have visual and informed alignment for all team members.  Strategic mapping guarantees we aren’t trying to be ‘all things to all customers’ but rather ‘the things our customers need’.

4) What opportunities do you see in the market?
Very early, NetSuite influenced a completely new way of accessing and consuming ERP capabilities in the cloud. TrueCloud has been able to leverage the early adopters and is now entering an ‘innovation stage’ where we can rapidly build, deploy and support new features and functionality tuned specifically to our customer and industry focus.  Our intensely customer-centric approach means we know our customers, their needs, and their business and can refine and build on NetSuite capability without burdening our client with technical complexities.

TrueCloud is on a business optimization journey and we are taking our clients with us.  TrueCloud understands that the road to business excellence is rarely straight, often goes unpaved, and should never have a destination.  Our implementation service offerings, professional service offerings, and ongoing service optimization offerings are never one size fits all.  They are tailored to the profile of our customer.  While we utilize well-defined play books and methodology, we ensure that the service approach always takes the unique needs of the customer into account and leverages the best of NetSuite to deliver measurable value.
