SAGE ADDS SCORING AND DEVELOPMENT FUND

Irvine, Calif. -- Sage North America is looking to enhance its channel partner program by adding a product and company scoring initiative, as well as a dedicated market development fund to help fuel partner marketing initiatives. The software developer claims that the goal of the latest additions is to offer the right tools to compete and grow customer relationships.

The new Sage Market Development Fund Program will be available to channel partners to help them drive new business and support cross-selling efforts. MDF will replace the current Sage Partner Advantage Co-op Program, which will be retired on April 30, 2013.

 

BRITTENFORD BACKS SOFTWARE ACCOUNTING SURVEY

Reston, Va. -- Microsoft Dynamics and Intacct partner Brittenford Systems is sponsoring a national survey regarding accounting and financial practices and systems of software companies designed to shed light on best practices, trends and opportunities.

The brief and confidential survey will examine how software companies utilize their accounting systems to manage revenue recognition guidelines, along with multi-entity reporting, financial consolidation requirements, and more. AZTEC TO RESELL MAXXVAULT DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT

ACUMATICA HIRES ISV CHANNEL HEAD

Kirkland, Wash. -- Cloud and hosted ERP producer Acumatica has hired former Microsoft Dynamics channel executive Christian Lindberg in the position of vice president of partner solutions, specifically charged with growing the company's independent software vendor channel.
