UXC ECLIPSE BUYS TECTURA
New York -- UXC Eclipse Inc., the U.S. arm of Australia-based UXC Ltd., has purchased Tectura North America, effectively creating one of the largest Microsoft Dynamics resellers in the country. Though financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, Tectura's operations in Canada, the U.S. and Latin America will become UXC, while Tectura will retain its businesses in Europe and Asia.
ARMANINO PURCHASES ROSE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS
San Ramon, Calif. -- Accounting and consulting firm Armanino has purchased Rose Business Solutions for an undisclosed sum. The deal allows Armanino to take on 10 of Rose's staff, and approximately 250 Dynamics customers. The consultants joining Armanino will remain at Rose's San Diego office, while the remaining staff, as well as chief executive Linda Rose, will continue at RoseASP - a Dynamics hosting service that was launched in 2000 by Rose.
THE RESOURCE GROUP JOINS INTACCT CHANNEL
Renton, Wash. -- Microsoft Dynamics GP partner The Resource Group has added Intacct to its product offerings and will now sell, implement, support and develop enhancements for the cloud-based financial and accounting product. The Resource Group has been in business for 25 years and ranked No. 75 on the 2013 VAR 100 list, reporting $5.2 million in revenue and nearly 30 staff.
ERP GURU APPOINTS NEW CFO
Montreal -- Top NetSuite partner ERP Guru has hired chartered accountant Geri-Lynn Kushneryk as its new chief financial officer, reporting to president Martin McNicoll. Kushneryk has experience in venture capital, turnarounds and the restructuring of technology firms, as well as operations and project financing. Since 2007, she has assisted several early- and growth-stage companies in meeting their objectives, including recently Pleio Health Support Systems and Gamerizon Studio. She has also worked as an investment director in private placement at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, and at Bell Canada. "ERP Guru is a company that is exceptionally well-run, and its customers are ultimately rewarded with the delivery of high-quality service built around a superior product;" Kushneryk said in a statement.
