Virginia Society Offers New Web Site for Tax Help

Richmond, Va. (Dec. 23, 2002) -- The Virginia Society of CPAs launched a new Web site to offer free tips and services to local tax professionals, consumers and others.

Located at www.vataxhelp.com, the site includes Virginia and federal tax information, with links to downloadable forms, financial planning articles, frequently asked tax questions and some tips for the 2003 filing season.

In addition, anyone filing federal or state tax returns in Virginia can get free online tax advice by submitting e-mail questions through the site, which will be answered by CPAs within three business days.

The Web site also contains useful facts about CPAs, and online guides for non-profits.
