In an effort to boost its Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and risk assurance services, regional CPA and business advisory firm WithumSmith+Brown has formed WithumSmith+Brown Global Assurance LLC.
The new unit, which will be headed by Tom Basilo, will offer an array of compliance, corporate governance and business process services.
In addition, WithumSmith+Brown Global Assurance has designed a new Sarbanes-Oxley solution specifically for venture-backed private entities and not-for-profit companies, a product that prepares users for SOX compliance while laying the foundation for an integrated audit. WSB ranked No. 59 on Accounting Today's 2005 Top Firms survey with annual revenues of roughly $31 million and 17 partners.
