This is a new award, and for 2017, the winners are Beyond Balanced Books, a firm based in Morgan Hill, California, and HubDoc, a document management software provider based in Toronto, Canada and Sydney, Australia.

The Partnership Impact award is given to partners that demonstrated “significant impact to a mutual small business client through collaboration, out-of-the-box thinking and a high-level customer centric approach,” according to Xero. Beyond Balanced Books used the Xero-HubDoc integration over the past year to achieve efficiencies for clients, to great success.

“Since 2014, we’ve worked closely with Xero to help advisors and their small business clients make the shift to the cloud,” said Jamie Shulman, co-founder and co-CEO of Hubdoc, in a statement. “We believe in the power of the cloud accounting ecosystem, and the value it can provide to customers.”
