Sage Launches Latest MAS 90, MAS 200 Versions

Business software developer Sage Software unveiled the newest versions of its mid-market enterprise resource planning systems, Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200. Both new 4.1 versions offer features to streamline sales order entry, increase distribution workflow productivity and increase ease of use.

The latest versions of the ERPs, directed at distribution and manufacturing companies, automate core accounting and e-commerce, as well as providing extended business intelligence tools, along with financial reporting. The applications also include support for CRM, HR and payroll.

Some of the new features include better integration between sales order and job cost to enable additional invoicing methods such as retainer and cost-plus invoicing. Sage's Dual Grid interface is now included in the sales order entry and can be set with user-specific defaults for each field; conversion of Business Frameworks allows users to search for information in any of the four key modules -- accounts receivable, sales order, return merchandise authorization and bank reconciliation.

The four modules are now presented within the Crystal Reports viewer, which has an added "save report settings" feature. The modules also contain a memo manager so users can attach customer information to appropriate records, and has enhanced security controls to satisfy Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Pricing will be available in the next 30 days through resellers. For more information, visit www.sagesoftware.com/mas90 .
