Acumatica has hired veteran channel development executive Dawn Jaeger to head up its partner recruiting team.

Jaeger has held senior marketing and sales positions for nearly two decades and most recently served as director of global channel development for SugarCRM. She was also channel recruitment manager at SAP America.
Jaeger spoke highly of SugarCRM as a company and said they have a strong, recognizable brand now, but felt it was time for a change. She engaged in a fair amount of due diligence before officially joining Acumatica this week, after speaking to current and former employees as well as current channel partners.
“I had several requirements for where I really wanted to go: I wanted to work for a company that was not yet public, had a cloud-based solution and a channel program, was growing rapidly so I could leverage my contacts and network, had CRM and ERP, and – if possible – was 100-percent channel focused and they absolutely have all of that here,” said Jaeger. “I like that you have a choice of cloud platforms or can go on premises. I like that you can choose a subscription or license with the product and on top of that they really do have a great partner program with no fees for joining, training and generous margins. Ultimately I really believe I can make a difference here and that’s what did it for me.”
Jaeger joins the company just as it released the beta version 4.1 of its flagship product, which boasts changes to its CRM module, drag and drop capabilities and Microsoft Excel integration. Improvements to 4.1 also encompass areas of usability, customer portals, and financials.
