AccuFund Enhances Doc Management for Nonprofits

Nonprofit business and accounting software developer AccuFund Inc. has partnered with Real Vision Software to add enhanced document imaging and storage capabilities to its AccuFund Accounting Suite.

The new integration is particularly aimed at nonprofit organizations with enterprise-level needs.

Documents that are scanned or uploaded in AccuFund are automatically indexed in RVI, making them easy to retrieve. Documents stored in RVI are directly linked to transactions in AccuFund and can be viewed and reported within AccuFund as easily as those stored in the AccuFund database.

“AccuFund currently has the ability to store document images internally, but we deal with many large clients who are looking for more advanced indexing and retrieval capabilities,” said AccuFund president Peter Stam. “Our tight integration with RVI’s feature-rich document imaging solution is especially attractive to those clients who have large amounts of data and require a more enterprise-level solution to meet their needs.”

“We have found that organizations in every industry need document imaging, and nonprofits are no different,” said John Paul Roundtree, director of marketing and partner relations at RVI. “We work with numerous types of nonprofits across the U.S. and, like corporations, they have records retention requirements based on government or industry regulations.”
