Bridging the divide between business cards and LinkedIn profiles is CamCard, an app that scans and stores business cards.
Besides scanning business cards to import a new contact's information, CamCard also allows you to add notes and reminders to each person so they are less likely to get lost in the shuffle. Those organizational capabilities are especially helpful during big events or networking opportunities, when you can quickly find yourself under an avalanche of card stock. And if you run out of the paper version, you can exchange e-cards through the app.
Other features include access to contacts’ job updates and company news, giving you opportunities to reach out with a simple congrats or a question. The information can be accessed across all devices and in 17 recognition languages.
