NetSuite Appoints Jim McGeever President

NetSuite appointed Jim McGeever as president, succeeding and continuing to report to CEO Zach Nelson, who previously held the position.

McGeever, also appointed to the NetSuite Board of Directors, joined the company in 2000 as its 15th employee. Until 2010, McGeever served as chief financial officer and led NetSuite’s 2007 initial public offering. In 2010, McGeever became chief operating officer, responsible for global sales, services and support operations.

"Jim has done an amazing job as COO, and his customer-centric focus enabled NetSuite to deliver for customers and shareholders for the last five years," stated Nelson. "Bringing together the core customer, product, HR and vertical efforts in a unified organization under his direction will ensure that NetSuite continues to exceed our customers' expectations and to expand our global footprint."

As president, McGeever will lead all customer, vertical, product and human resource activities. NetSuite chief technology officer and founder Evan Goldberg will continue leading the company’s product organization and will now report to McGeever.

"Jim and I have worked closely together from the time when we were crowded into a small office above a hair salon to our position today as the global leader in cloud ERP solutions," stated Goldberg. "I am excited to continue building the best cloud solution to run a business in this new organizational structure that unifies our go-to-market resources with our world-class product organization."
