Sage CTO Himanshu Palsule, Marketing EVP Gabrielle Boko Depart

Sage’s Himanshu Palsule, CTO and head of strategy, and Gabrielle Boko, EVP of marketing, have both left the company.

Sage is actively looking for replacements in the wake of both departures, which are coincidental in timing, according to the accounting software company.

In the interim, JuanMi Rodriguez, who has been with Sage since 2009, will be leading the R&D organization, and Santiago Solanas, a five-year veteran most recently global chief marketing officer, will lead branding globally.

Palsule has been with Sage since Best Software, where he served as an SVP and general manager, was acquired by the company. He retained that role with Sage, leading product, marketing and sales, until he was promoted to CTO in 2012.

An EVP and regional CMO of marketing for Sage since 2013, Boko took on the dual role of EVP of global brand experience in July, assuming a visible presence at the Sage Summit user conference that month.

In other Sage executive news, Jennifer Sassen, a senior marketing executive with the company for over a year, was recently appointed VP of regional marketing for North America.
