Sage Introduces New Sage 50 Enhancements

Sage announced the latest version of its small business accounting software Sage 50 Accounting, U.S. Edition.

Among Sage 50’s 10 new enhancements, all requested from customers, are two mobile apps, improved installation, and access to chat support through the product.

“The latest version of Sage 50 includes a number of enhancements requested by our customers and designed to make day-to-day tasks such as accounting, payroll and payments even easier for small business owners,” said Connie Certusi, Sage EVP and general manager. “The new iPhone and iPad apps give customers the flexibility to check inventory and create quotes on the go, while the new chat feature allows customers to get help as soon as they need it without having to pick up the phone.”

The enhancements also include personalized text on customer emails, one-click invoice creation, credit card processing within the app, one-click purchase orders, easy order-to-invoice conversion, and customizable lists.

The Sage iPhone app enables customers to view their Sage 50 inventory and quantities, customer contact info, purchase history and account status, while the Mobile Sales iPad app displays real-time Sage 50 information in a catalogue format.

Sage 50’s chat support features a chat link within the product for faster assistance. The product’s new faster installation silently installs Sage 50 when customers upgrade.
