Sage Names Marc Scheipe North America President

Sage announced that Marc Scheipe has been appointed president of Sage North America. Scheipe, previously interim regional president, will assume the role on a permanent basis, continuing to sit on the executive committee and reporting to CEO Stephen Kelly.

“We want to support the ambition of entrepreneurs across North America with brilliant technology, an enduring customer relationship and a thriving eco-system of partners and accountants,” Kelly stated. “Marc’s leadership has driven great progress with that mission. He has inspiring energy and vision for how we can support businesses and also the communities we work in, and I am pleased to appoint him to the role.”

This year, Scheipe led Sage through the first stages of its transformation program, targeting improved efficiency and investing in core sales and service skills. The company recently announced reaching 250,000 customers on its cloud products.

Scheipe has more than 20 years of financial services experience focused on financial management, strategy development, process improvement, and sales and operation leadership.

“I am confident and excited to take on this position in North America,” stated Scheipe. “As Sage continues to invest in future growth, I look forward to leading the journey toward innovation and success.”

A distinguished graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Scheipe attained the rank of lieutenant commander and held various roles in operations, training and maintenance. He is also an FA-18 strike/fighter pilot, TOPGUN graduate, Six Sigma Black Belt, and holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
