Accounting and business consulting firm Wipfli announced its technology consulting practice has joined the NetSuite Solution Provider Program, providing implementation, product optimization and services for the cloud-based ERP provider’s business management suite.
Wipfli, which ranked No. 12 on Accounting Today’s 2015 VAR 100 list, adds NetSuite to a portfolio that includes Microsoft Dynamics and Abila MIP to serve midmarket companies in the manufacturing, e-commerce and distribution industries.
The technology consulting practice of Top 100 Firm Wipfli, which serves 44,000 clients from 34 offices, comprises roughly one-third of the accounting firm’s business.
“Wipfli has a long and distinguished history of providing a diverse range of value-added expertise and services,” stated Craig West, vice president of channel sales at NetSuite. “We look forward to a fruitful partnership that will bring NetSuite cloud solutions to forward-thinking companies in manufacturing and other industries.”
With NetSuite SuiteCommerce implementations, Wiplfi will provide manufacturing clients with core capabilities and website development expertise. The firm also plans to leverage its 120 developers in India for NetSuite customizations and the development of manufacturing-specific add-on applications.
“Manufacturers have come out of the recession and are reinventing themselves around faster lead times, increasing capacity and reducing costs to customers,” stated Mark Stevens, partner with Wipfli’s Manufacturing and Distribution Consulting and Technology Integration Group. “They’re looking at technology solutions to make themselves more efficient. They recognize that large investments in server rooms and IT staff may not be their core competency, and that the cloud is becoming a strong consideration.”
Wipfli plans to join the NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Network within the year.
