FRESHBOOKS UNVEILS CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

Toronto - Online invoicing, time tracking and billing vendor FreshBooks is now offering a certification program, whereby accountants can earn CPE credits to learn more about FreshBooks and become proficient in the product. The FreshBooks Certified Beancounters Program is a two-hour online course that gives accountants CPE credits upon completion. As part of the program, accountant clients can earn a 25 percent discount on FreshBooks.

KTL JOINS ACUMATICA

Frederick, Md. - Microsoft Dynamics GP and SL reseller KTL Solutions has officially joined the partner program of Acumatica.

With Acumatica, KTL Solutions is able to offer a full-featured, Microsoft-based ERP solution with development options that include on-premises installation or Software-as-a-Service running in the Microsoft Windows Azure datacenters.

BCS BUYS DELTEK PRACTICE

San Antonio - Sage and Deltek reseller and technology consultant BCS ProSoft has purchased the Deltek Vision practice from Forepoint Inc., effectively growing its staff and customer base for the enterprise resource planning product. The acquisition adds two employees and 200 Deltek Vision customers to BCS ProSoft, and increases the firm's footprint throughout the country. Forepoint president Kevin Cumley plans to focus on consulting and business development, particularly around cloud-based offerings.

SAGE EXEC JOINS BLYTHECO

Laguna Hills, Calif. - Major Sage North America partner Blytheco has hired Jeffrey Gregorec as its new vice president of sales, reporting directly to chief executive Stephen Blythe. Gregorec comes to Blytheco from Sage's North American CRM sales organization, which included the ACT!, SalesLogix and Sage CRM brands, and brings over 18 years of experience from the IT industry to his new role.
