Baker Tilly Gets Recognized as Leader in Employee Learning

April 8, 2010

Accounting and advisory firm Baker Tilly has received a global award that recognizes organizations which have developed “effective and efficient” approaches to employee learning – resulting in a boost of business improvement.

The Learning Leaders Award program is sponsored by Bersin & Associates, a research and advisory firm focused on enterprise learning and talent management. There were 25 winners.

Known as Beers + Cutler prior to a December merger with Baker Tilly, the firm was selected as a winner in the Learning and Talent Initiative Excellence category for its leadership development program. Last year Baker Tilly was selected as a winner in the Operational Program Excellence category for its college internship orientation program.

“I’m extremely pleased,” said Ed Offterdinger, managing partner of Baker Tilly’s East region. “Being honored alongside of the most prominent companies in the country indicates that we have put in place a first-class program. Our continued focus on leadership, learning and development illustrates the commitment we’ve made to our people.”
