News at BSSF

September 16, 2010

There’s a bunch of news coming out of Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz (BSSF) this month, including new hires, new CPAs and recognition that the firm was named one of the best places to work in their state of Pennsylvania.

Erin Dinsmore joins the BSSF teams as a 2010 graduate of Susquehanna University with a bachelor’s in accounting and a minor in economics. Joining her in newbie status is Joseph Kopchick, a 2010 graduate of Lebanon Valley college with a bachelor’s in accounting.

Two team members also were awarded their CPA credential, bringing the total number of CPAs at BSSF to 55. Robert Soltis and Brian Marchuck, both senior staff accountants can now add those coveted letters after their name.

The firm was also named one of the best places to work in Pennsylvania. The firm has received this award seven out of the nine years it has entered into the program. To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following requirements:

•    Have at least 25 employees in Pennsylvania
•    Be a for profit or a not for profit business
•    Be a publicly or privately held business
•    Have a facility in Pennsylvania and
•    Be in good standing with Commonwealth agencies under the Governor’s jurisdiction.

BSSF will be recognized at the Best Places to Work in PA evening awards on Nov. 30 in Lancaster, Penn.

Congrats to all!
