The Association for Accounting Marketing announced it will host its 2014 AAM Summit in Austin, Texas, May 21-23.
The 25th annual summit, the largest event hosted by AAM to connect accounting marketing professionals, will be held at the Hilton Austin, with pre-conference sessions beginning May 20.
“AAM’s members have asked for a solo conference and a change of location,” said Katie Tolin, director of practice growth at Ohio-based Rea & Associates and AAM president, in a statement. “We look forward to the social and professional development opportunities available from networking in an intimate setting with fellow members of the AAM community.”
AAM had co-located its past two conferences with the AICPA Practitioners Symposium and Tech+ Conference in Las Vegas.
“We have benefited significantly from our partnership with AICPA,” Tolin stated. “We look forward to growing that relationship and co-locating conferences with the AICPA in the future.”
The summit will be chaired by Bri Harding, brand manager at Carr, Riggs & Ingram in Nashville, Tenn., and co-chaired by Shana Karle, a marketing consultant with Ingenuity Marketing Group in St. Paul, Minn.
