Citrin Cooperman announces pilot of new 'Business Alliance' for member firms

Top 100 firm accounting, tax, and business consulting firm Citrin Cooperman announced on Wednesday the pilot of a new program, dubbed the Citrin Cooperman Business Alliance.

The Business Alliance will offer technical services, continuing professional education, and training in soft skills to member firms to better help them maintain clients and improve their overall value as a practice. 

“We are anxious to test pilot this program as we believe many CPA firms can use our resources to help them maintain and grow their business,” said Joel Cooperman, Citrin Cooperman’s CEO, per a statement. “The Citrin Cooperman Business Alliance will offer our members access to a customized suite of resources and services that speak to their unique needs.” 

Alliance members include both mid-size, regional CPA firms to small firms/private practices across the country.  

Citrin Cooperman plans to offer services under four areas:

  • Citrin Cooperman University (CCU): Training for professionals offering both technical skills for audit, tax, and accounting updates, alongside soft skills training for leadership, business, and personal development.
  • Marketing Consulting: Provide various marketing services to help members build/maintain brand position in their respective markets.
  • Infrastructure Support: Gives members access to resources that assist with consulting and hands-on support for internal operations including risk management, IT, and human resources.
  • Technical Support for Specialty Services: Members have access to technical resources that assist with audit quality control, international tax, valuations, litigation support, state and local tax.
