Get your GLOW on!

IMGCAP(1)] Do you remember hearing about that crazy group of CPAs who played silly games and splashed at the Liquid Lounge at the AICPA Practitioners Symposium and TECH+ Conference last year?

And how the year before they drove 60-mile-per-hour go-karts as mentioned here

You might remember that it all began with trampoline dodgeball three years ago.

The AICPA remembers, too. After all, over the past couple of years, our Trampoline Dodgeball, Offsite 500, and CPAwet events somewhat disrupted the AICPA’s Twitter feed, making a real statement about the new generation of CPAs.

It’s gotten to the point that our extreme event is now expected.

I have to say, that’s pretty cool.

It all comes from the best place possible. We’re intentional disruptors! We are loud, proud, motivated, competitive, and will be heard. We are poised and ready to solve the issues facing the “now” generation of clients.

We are ready because we are armed with the cloud, social media, and mobile innovations. Gone are the days of the quiet CPA who merely delivers product. We are on the ground, socializing and “mobilizing” with clients on a daily basis to offer the ongoing guidance and support required for our client’s business success. We are still relatively small in numbers, but growing progressively.

The past three years have built up to this moment. This crazy group now has an official annual event.

Are you ready for this year’s?

Get ready for glow-in-the-dark beach volleyball, complete with day-glow war paint. Go ahead, imagine it now: CPAs roaming in the dark, competing for the beach volleyball championship (and hoping not to hurt themselves). After all, some of those CPAs are fierce competitors.

You’ve heard it here first, folks.

So, if you missed dodgeball and the racecars, no worries, you can attend our #CPAGLOW event this June in Orlando and hear about how we are all “planting roots for success!” (Absolutely no chicken dinners will be served, just drinks and fun.)

Here are the details (I did say we are official now, didn’t I?): http://cpaglow.eventbrite.com/

An EXTREME Glow-In-Dark Beach Volleyball Party on-site at the Swan and Dolphin Beach. You will have the chance to challenge your CPA peers in some volleyball and other games —but trust that we are all fun and come with your best party personality.  Oh, and as part of the AICPA Steering Committee, I can tell you that we’ve “set” up CPE this year.

Remember, this conference will be bigger and better than ever this year as we are combining with AAM (firm marketers) and AAA (firm administrators) as well.

You can win on so many levels!

I hope to see you all in Orlando!
