Top 100 firm WithumSmith+Brown, PC (Withum) recently conducted their 5th Annual “Withum Week of Caring,” wherein over 800 firm professionals joined their communities to volunteer their time before the Thanksgiving holiday.

Professionals representing Withum's 14 offices volunteered at 47 different charity organizations, ultimately donating over 2,100 hours of their time. Organizations served included Homeless Solutions, Community Soup Kitchen and Outreach Center/Crisis Food Pantry, IEP Youth Services, and One Simple Wish.

“This is our favorite outreach event of the year because of the number of people and organizations involved,” said Bill Hagaman, Withum CEO and managing partner, per a statement. “Giving back to local charities is an important part of our firm’s culture. This being our fifth year of holding Withum Week of Caring, it was once again a great success thanks to the many generous people of our firm.”

“I absolutely loved spending a few hours of labor in the spirit of giving back,” stated Rocio Santiago, a Withum professional located at the firm's Red Bank, NJ office who volunteered at IEP Youth Services. “I got to meet a couple of the young people who live there, and they were so appreciative of our help. This is what the holidays should be about.”

Established in 1974, Withum is a public accounting and advisory firm with 800 staff members in offices throughout New Jersey; New York City; Philadelphia; Boston; Orlando; Aspen; and the Cayman Islands. For more, head to Withum's site here.
