Business assurance technology provider ACL Services Ltd. is expanding into the electronic work papers market with the acquisition of Workpapers.com.

ACL plans to integrate its audit analytics offerings with the Workpapers.com audit management system. In addition, Workpapers.com founder Dan Zitting will become the new vice president of Working Papers Software for ACL Services.

This acquisition puts us in the position to provide a complete audit technology offering that is integrated, efficient and meets the most pressing needs of audit departments today.”

A recent survey of over 8000 ACL customers found a 75 percent interest in an integrated analytics and electronic work papers system to improve efficiency and increase the use of technology in their audit departments.
