CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, has launched a new partner program for value-added resellers to offer CCH indirect tax software integrated with most mid-market ERP systems.

CCH has worked with over 200 partners over the past couple of years, but this recent move “formalizes” the relationship with ERP VARs and offers more incentives for existing and future partners, according to CCH vice president and general manager, corporate, Scott Gruchot.

“At the end of the day [our partner program] may have been one of our better kept secrets, but this [recent move] is a chance for existing partners and partners out there we don’t work with or did much business to work with us,” said Gruchot. “We have seen a regular, quarter by quarter increase of sales from partners lately, and this is a chance for us to go back to the 200-plus [partners] we already have, refresh our relationship with them and create a better revenue share, build annuities and the ability to grow together."

Through CCH’s partner program, VARs will receive incentives including enhanced partner margin rewards and renewal annuities; product training; a dedicated account manager; pre-sales activities and support; dealer not-for-resale software copy; joint marketing initiatives such as webinars and co-branded collateral; promotion on CCH’s Web site; and phone and email technical support.

For this program, CCH is focused on sales of its indirect tax offerings, which are part of its CorpSystem suite of products. These include CorpSystem Sales Tax Load Utilities; CorpSystem Sales Tax Office; CorpSystem Sales Tax Returns Online; CorpSystem Sales Tax SaaS (formerly SpeedTax); and CorpSystem Sales Tax Compliance Services.

These products currently integrate with ERP products from Sage, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, and NetSuite.
“The news today is around our indirect tax solutions, which cover ‘the 3 Cs’—content, calculation and compliance,” said Gruchot. “Our partners help provide solutions in all those areas or we connect with them. They may have a content need to feed into ERP directly so we provide content connectors. Some may want to plug our calculation or compliance tools. We want this [program] to be something mutually beneficial.”
