CPA Firm Develops Charitable Donation iPhone App

Lincoln, Neb. (January 25, 2010)

BMG CPAs LLP has created iDonatedIt, an iPhone and iPod Touch application that calculates, tracks, and reports non-cash charitable donations.

iDonatedIt tracks the date when a user donates non-cash items to a charity, the charity to which the items were donated, the items donated and the fair market value of those items.

The app builds lists of the items donated and allows users to keep a permanent record of the items they have donated that meets the compliance requirements of the IRS.

Users can attach a photo to their donation lists to document their donations. They can also e-mail the detailed donation report and photo from an iPhone or iPod Touch to themselves or to their accountant.
