CliftonLarsonAllen Acquires Nonprofit Financial Solutions

Top 100 firm CliftonLarsonAllen has acquired the Kirklin, Ind.-based firm Nonprofit Financial Solutions for an undisclosed amount.

Nonprofit Financial Solutions provides nonprofits with CFO, consulting and outsourcing services. “Throughout the years, the firm has experienced significant success in these practice areas and provided exceptional service to its clients,” CLA Indianapolis partner-in-charge John Sauder said in a statement. “We are eager to leverage these services and strengthen our nonprofit and outsourcing solutions.”

Eight of Nonprofit Financial Solutions' professionals, including partner Timothy Murphy, will join CLA. Murphy has experience as a financial and operations management consultant and worked with a range of clients, including community foundations, faith-based organizations, churches, social service agencies and organizations that receive federal and state funding.

“We established Nonprofit Financial Solutions 15 years ago to empower nonprofit executives with information about their organization so they could focus on fulfilling their missions, not on running an accounting department,” Murphy said in a statement. “This focus has led to our success over the years, and we are excited to bring that same philosophy to CliftonLarsonAllen and put it into practice among its experienced professionals.”

“This combination represents a perfect fit for CLA,” Sauder added. “Nonprofit Financial Solutions’ commitment to providing business solutions to the nonprofit community matches CLA’s culture and mission perfectly. The blend of expertise across both firms will further expand our capabilities and deliver maximum impact on our clients’ success.”
