Little Rock-based Frost is the states largest accounting firm. It is acquiring Fayetteville-based Ervin.
The Ervin firm has been a leader in employing new technologies to serve their clients more efficiently, Frost managing member Daniel M. Peregrin said in a statement. They are a perfect fit for our business and Northwest Arkansas is important to the firms growth.

Frost is already well known in Arkansas, and we are pleased to become part of their expansion in the region, said John Ervin in a statement.
Prior to the acquisition, Frost had 152 employees in its offices in Little Rock and Fayetteville, along with Raleigh, N.C. The firm, formerly known as Moore Stephens & Frost, acquired Raleigh-based Lynch & Howard and Fayetteville-based Rick J. Tannenberger CPA PA last December. Ervin will move his offices to the existing Fayetteville offices that Frost has been operating.
