Document and imaging product maker Accusoft has released Prizm Capture, a cloud-based tool designed to capture invoice information and import it directly into a QuickBooks Online account.

Prizm Capture allows QuickBooks Online users to automatically extract invoice data from paper invoices and post them to their QuickBooks Online account. Users can first scan and upload invoices, then verify results, and finally post to QuickBooks Online.

In addition Prizm Capture is able to learn usage functions and reduces the need for verification, ultimately eliminating the need altogether over time.

"We are excited to be able to put our forms processing expertise to use as an application," said Accusoft director of recognition Tom Setzer. "QuickBooks customers just upload their scanned invoices and we'll pull the applicable information right off the page. They can double check the results, choose the appropriate expense account and then post the invoice to QuickBooks Online. It's that easy."
