NetSuite Partners With Aria Systems on Billing

San Mateo, Calif. (November 19, 2009)

NetSuite has integrated Media, Pa.-based Aria Systems’ billing functionality, which was developed using NetSuite’s SuiteCloud technology.

The combined system provides subscription management capabilities for administrators. The Aria Systems software is designed for companies that offer subscription-based products, in particular, businesses that bill based on usage such as online data storage, advertising space, pay-per-click and minutes used.

The integration between the two systems optimizes workflow based on usage-billing scenarios. “Usage-based billing is playing an increasingly important role in the strategies of companies across many different industries,” said Aria Systems CEO Ed Sullivan in a statement.

The first phase of the integration synchronizes customer information between NetSuite’s own billing engine and the Aria Billing Platform.

“The Aria Billing Platform provides the functional breadth, product maturity, and [Software-as-a-Service]-based delivery model that we look for in our SuiteCloud developer partners and serves as a great addition to NetSuite’s built-in billing capabilities,” said NetSuite CTO Evan Goldberg in a statement.
