Sensiba San Filippo Merges in W.H. Mayer

Sensiba San Filippo has merged in another California firm, W.H. Mayer Accountancy Corporation, expanding Sensiba’s presence in the state.

The merger took effect on January 3. W.H. Mayer plans to move its offices in Pleasanton to Sensiba San Filippo’s existing Pleasanton office on Jan. 5, 2012, and will continue serving its existing clients.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Sensiba San Filippo had annual revenues of approximately $15.88 million last year. The merger is part of a strategy at Sensiba to accelerate the firm’s staffing and revenue growth over the next few years. The expansion plan combines organic growth with select acquisitions.

“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to add the top-notch talent of W.H. Mayer to our team,” said managing partner John Sensiba in a statement. “W.H. Mayer is a natural fit for us in all respects, from its community-oriented philosophy to its diverse client base. It is precisely the type of organization we have been looking to associate with as we continue to grow and expand. Combining forces will give our current clients a wealth of additional resources as we continue to offer effective and efficient business solutions.”

“Our firm couldn’t be happier to be joining forces with Sensiba San Filippo,” said W.H. Mayer principal Wally H. Mayer. “Like us, Sensiba San Filippo has been a pillar of the San Francisco Bay Area business community for decades, and it shares the same deep commitment to exceptional client service.”
