With Bill.com, a Web-based service that automates bill workflow and payment, business document filing tasks can be improved while information is kept synchronized with popular accounting systems.

The audit trail and integration with CS Professional Suite aim to simplify the process for accountants to provide clients with accurate financial reports and advice, and make much of the bill payment process paperless. Vendors and employees can be paid electronically through Bill.com.

Clients of CS Professional Suite users can scan, fax, or e-mail bills, contracts and other financial documents directly to the secure Bill.com account they share with their accountant. The accountant can access the digital images, route them for approval and schedule them for electronic payment. Data from transactions can be imported directly into Thomson Reuters Write-Up CS.

"Even if an accounting firm is not handling client bill payment, they can improve their results and take on more clients by recommending that their clients use BIll.com,” said Bill.com CEO René Lacerte in a statement.
