Freed Maxick Names New Chief

Top 100 Firm Freed Maxick CPAs announced that Timothy McPoland has succeeded Ronald Soluri as the firm’s managing director, and Robert Glaser as chairman of the board, while Mark Stebbins has been named vice chairman of the board.

McPoland will now be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm, and Stebbins will assist in developing the firm’s strategic planning related to industry and service practice areas.

Soluri and Glaser will remain with the firm, focusing on client relations and firm growth.

Freed Maxick has 38 directors and over 300 employees in Buffalo, Batavia, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany, and was No. 75 on Accounting Today’s 2015 Top 100 Firms list, with net revenues of $45.5 million.
