“The acquisition of Praedium will add valuable expertise and tools to K·Coe Isom’s agriculture services team and expand the capabilities of our sustainability practice,” said K·Coe Isom CEO Jeff Wald in a statement. “Praedium has demonstrated impressive success and will be a welcome addition to our team as we continue to bolster our agricultural education and consultancy offerings for clients.”

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. K·Coe Isom ranked 66th on Accounting Today’s 2017 list of the Top 100 Firms, with $61.15 million in annual revenue.

In July, K·Coe Isom expanded into Missouri by acquiring Baer & Co., and last November it acquired Schmidt, Bettencourt & Medeiros, a firm in Turlock, Calif., its sixth location in California.

The Praedium acquisition is expected to strengthen K·Coe Isom’s national agriculture and sustainability services practice, which offers accounting, tax planning and advisory services to food and ag operations, as well as businesses in other industries.

“Joining K·Coe Isom will allow us to complement the team’s reputable ag knowledge and the firm’s many practice areas to offer clients access to insights, resources, and services on a national level,” said Praedium CEO Earl Dotson in a statement. “We are excited to join a growing professional services firm with such a firm foundation in the food and agriculture industry, and contribute to K·Coe Isom’s robust sustainability practice.”
