Roger CPA Review launches updated exam prep course

CPA Exam review provider Roger CPA Review announced on Thursday the launch of their 2017 course materials to help CPA candidates study for the updated Exam.

The new CPA Exam, which launches April 1, 2017, will see more testing on advanced critical thinking skills. In response, Roger CPA Review has updated their Interactive Practice Question (IPQ) bank, to reflect the AICPA’s new CPA Exam Blueprints, as well as overhauling their CPA Exam Simulator to reflect the new five-testlet structure.

Additionally, Roger CPA Review’s new curriculum will include guided lessons on sample complex Task-Based Simulations (TBSs), including the new Document Review Simulations (DRS), to help navigate skill problems.

“Critical thinking skills are increasingly required in the daily tasks of entry level employees at accounting firms,” said Rob Dewey, director of product development at Roger CPA Review, per a statement. “Our goal in providing expert guidance and training for higher-order thinking skills isn’t only to get students to pass the new exam, but to lay the groundwork for them to be successful at the beginning of their careers.”

Roger CPA Review will also offer new and current students alike the choice to study either the 2016 or 2017 course materials for each of their exam sections through March 10, 2017.
