David Blundin is the founder of DataSage, Inc. Blundin's early work on neural networks and their behavior in extremely large databases with high dimensionality led him to conclude that traditional neural network solutions quickly broke down in large data environments. This pioneering conclusion would serve as the foundation for his later development of the proprietary CirrusNet pattern recognition algorithm, the first algorithm incorporated in DataSage. Before founding DataSage, Blundin was a founding member of MicroStrategy, one of the leading privately held decision support/OLAP software companies. While at MicroStrategy, he assumed responsibility for project management of several key national accounts. He holds a B.S. degree in computer science from MIT, where he did thesis research at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.
