Gregory Carey

Greg co-heads the national infrastructure practice as well as the Municipal Finance Department's transportation effort. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2004 as a managing director. Prior to joining the firm, Greg worked atCitigroup for 22 years, where he co-headedthe firm’s infrastructure group. In this role,he was responsible for all infrastructure andsurface transportation efforts. Greg has alsodone extensive work in project finance,waste-to energy and sports advisory andfacility financings. Three of his client’sdeals have been selected as InstitutionalInvestor’s "Deal of the Year."Greg earned an AB in Economics fromHarvard College in 1983.
