Mr. LeBas joined Janney in 2006 and is the Firm’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist. In this role, he works closely with Financial Consultants in providing customized investment strategies for a range of institutional and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Mr. LeBas authors in-depth economic and bond market periodicals and provides relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. Named among Bloomberg’s Best Bond Forecasters in multiple categories in the third quarter 2010 rankings, Mr. LeBas was ranked seventh in both the 2-year treasuries and 3-month Libor categories, based on the accuracy of predictions made over the past 15 quarters beginning in 2007. Mr. LeBas is one of a select group of forecasters to be recognized for his performance in multiple categories. Prior to joining Janney, Mr. LeBas was the Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on an $11 billion balance sheet. He received his education from Swarthmore College and is a CFA Charterholder.
