Jay N. Ryan

Jay N. Ryan, Jr. is Vice President for REO and Non-Performing Loan (NPL) Sales. Reporting to the Senior Vice President � Real Estate, Ryan manages Fannie Mae�s REO dispositions, short sales, and NPL program.��Previously, Ryan managed the Alternative REO Disposition Group, which handled all non-traditional REO sales � including auctions, pool sales, rental programs, the First Look program, and public entities sales focused on Neighborhood Stabilization Program fund recipients. He also managed the company's multifamily equity investment business in tax-advantaged properties, which are comprised primarily of investments in properties that qualify for federal low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC).Before joining Fannie Mae in May 1998, Ryan worked in Freddie Mac�s Multifamily � Community Development Investment Group.Ryan has a bachelor of science in accounting and a master of business administration in finance from the University of Maryland�s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
