Joe leads the Enterprise Information Management and Analytics practice for EMC Consulting in the Americas. In this capacity, Joe leads a practice of consultants that focus on helping clients create the next generation of big data capabilities, including analytics, next generation data warehousing that includes unstructured data, data federation, and implementable Master Data Management and Data Governance strategies. This includes all aspects of the data management journey, including Strategy, Data Profiling and Mapping, Business Alignment, Data Governance establishment, and EIM technology deliveryJoe has worked in the enterprise data management area for 19 years, first through the lens of ERP and CRM before moving into Data Warehousing, Master Data Management, and Big Data. Has helped dozens of companies align data needs to IT goals, construct effective EIM business cases, and create effective data governance policies and organizational structures. He speaks regularly at conferences on the next generation o f Big Data technologies as well as practical ways to approach Master Data Management and Data Governance.
