Joy Kirsch, CFP®

Joy D. Kirsch founded Kirsch & Associates in 1990. The company specializes in providing wealth management and transition planning services to clients experiencing Life Changing Events, such as retirement, widowhood, or selling a business. She has developed a unique process for delivering these services to her clients called The TruWealth® Process. Using this proprietary, consultative process, she works closely with a team of tax and legal professionals to help clients transition to their new paradigm with confidence.\nJoy believes that true wealth is not just a measure of one’s financial assets, but the sum of a person’s health, wealth, and personal relationships. She has devoted her professional career to helping others define their values, dream new dreams and align their wealth accordingly.\nJoy is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, a member of Sudden Money® Institute, a Certified Grief Recovery SpecialistSM, and the founding member of The Widow’s Journey™, a non-profit entity dedicated to educating widows. She is active in the Dallas Financial Planning Association and former chairman of the Ft. Worth Business & Estate planning Section of the Ft. Worth Bar Association. She graduated cum laude from the University of Dallas with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. Although Joy has won several industry awards, including being recognized as a top financial planner in the DFW area by D Magazine and a Five Star Wealth Manager by Texas Monthly magazine*, she is most proud of her twenty-five talented, beautiful and exceptional nieces and nephews. When she is not chained to her desk, she can be found on her farm in East Texas, usually in her garden or rocking on her front porch and watching the sunset.
