Matthew Buskard

Matt Buskard is a Vice President and Senior Manager in Vendor Risk Management at Fifth Third Bank. He is responsible for the oversight of Vendor Risk Assessments, Due Diligence and Vendor Risk Reporting for the Bancorp. Prior to his current role, Matt administered the Bank’s centralized Critical Vendor Monitoring Program.Before joining the Risk area of the bank, Matt spent several years within the first line-of-defense managing both domestic and non-domestic vendors within Fifth Third’s Consumer Bank with a focus on those supporting the mortgage and consumer lending business units. Prior to joining Fifth Third in 2007, Matt worked in several different capacities in the Mortgage business. In 2016 Matt earned his Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) designation through the Santa Fe Group’s Shared Assessments Program.
