Oren Bass

Oren is a co-founder at Pave and has +12 years of experience in investment management, structured finance and law.Oren began his career as a lawyer at Clifford Chance in London. In 2006, Oren moved into structured finance, joining Goldman Sachs as Vice President of the Structured Principal Investment group. In 2009, alongside his former Goldman colleagues, Oren joined GLG where he was responsible for co-managing an investment fund focused on investing in distressed and special opportunities globally via the Atlas Fund. After 2 years at GLG, Oren set up a family office, Atlas Global, to manage the Atlas Fund where he served as Chief Operating Officer until March 2012 when he left to start Pave.Building on his personal experiences and legal and financial acumen, Oren co-founded Pave with Sal Lahoud on the belief that individuals at the start of their careers should have access to a better type of funding that�s affordable, personal and simple.Oren is also a Trustee of the Fcancer Project (www.fcancer.org), which he co-founded with his business partner and friend Sal Lahoud, an online-based charitable organization that connects volunteers with cancer charities allowing them to donate time instead of money. Oren holds a first class degree in history from the University of Leeds and UCLA, as well as a Law degree from London�s College of Law.
